Mark Hopkins, Managing Partner

Mark was previously the President and CEO of Peak Industries. As the founder, Mark grew Peak from a start up in 1996 to a leading medical device contract manufacturer, expanding it's operation to 150,000 sq. ft and sales of $75MM. Peak was acquired by Delphi in 2005 as it entered the medical device market and currently operates as Delphi Medical Systems. Mark began his career with HP and, later, joined Emerson Electric as a VP of Mfg. where he led strategic initiatives ranging from TQC implementation to product cost reduction and the establishment of plants in China and Mexico. He earned a BSME from Cornell and an MSMSE from Stanford University.

Jennifer Hopkins, Managing Partner

Jenny has over 20 years of management experience in the electronics industry. Her leadership experience includes all functional areas (marketing, manufacturing, development and sales) as well as general and executive management. Throughout a 22 year career with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies, she had led operations and strategy development for a wide range of products including semiconductors, computer hardware, and test equipment. Prior to co-founding Crescendo, she was Vice President of Agilent's Global Solutions Organization with 4 divisions and over $500MM in sales. She has an MS from Stanford University and BS in Industrial Engineering from North Dakota State University.

Scott Hendrickson


Scott Hendrickson, Financial Analysis Manager

Scott has held Chief Financial Officer positions at both Agents Investors Group of America, LLC and Peak Industries. In these roles he was responsible for financial and regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, finance, budgeting and generation of all financial statements in accordance with statutory accounting principles. One recurring theme in Scott’s career is the successful prediction of cash requirements for growth companies and the timely execution of debt and equity raises to ensure that growth is supported by adequate access to capital. Mr. Hendrickson received an MBA from Regis College in Denver, Colorado, and a BS Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Hendrickson is a registered CPA (Inactive Status) with the State of Wyoming.



Pat Perrin


Pat Perrin, Deal Structure & Corporate Attorney, Partner Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP

Pat represents Crescendo Capital on legal matters regarding mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions. He brings a broad legal experience to the team, having represented clients involved in development (hardware and software), manufacturing, and distribution of technology-based companies. One of Pat’s notable strengths is his ability to analyze and protect valuable intellectual property. Upon graduation from law school Patrick served as a law clerk to The Honorable Robert McWilliams, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He was an associate from 1991 to 1997 and a partner from 1997 to 1999 in the Boulder office of a large Denver-based law firm. Patrick joined Hogan & Hartson in 1999 as one of the initial partners in the firm's Boulder office. In 2011 Patrick joined Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti as a Partner focused on intellectual property protection and related business transactions.
